Pablo Casado is a Spanish politician. He has been Deputy Secretary-General of Communications of the People’s Party, from 18 June, 2015 to 21 July, 2018, and President of the People’s Party, and Leader of the Opposition, both, from 21 July, 2018 to 2 April, 2022; as well as, a Member of the Assembly of Madrid, from 13 June, 2007 to 9 July, 2009, and a Member of the Congress of Deputies, from 13 December, 2011 to 4 April, 2022.
Pablo is the son of Esther Blanco Ruiz and Miguel Casado González. His father is from Matadeón de los Oteros, León. He is married to Isabel Torres Orts, with whom he has two children.
Pablo’s paternal grandmother was surnamed González. She was from Santa María de Cayón, Cantabria.
Pablo’s maternal grandfather was named Hernán Blanco Ramos. Hernán was born in Meneses de Campos, Palencia.
