Pamela Gidley was an American actress and model. She was known for her roles in the films Thrashin’ , Cherry 2000 , Permanent Record , The Last of the Finest , Highway to Hell (1991), Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me , Freefall (1994), S.F.W. , Jane Austen’s Mafia! , The Little Vampire (2000), and Luster , and on the shows Strange Luck and The Pretender . She won the Wilhemina Modeling Agency’s “Most Beautiful Girl in the World” contest in 1985 in Sydney, Australia.
Pamela was the daughter of Phyllis and Albert Gidley. She was raised in Salem, New Hampshire.
Pamela’s paternal grandfather was Albert Edward Gidley (the son of Samuel Gidley and Jane/Jennie Smith). Albert was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, to English parents, from Devon. Samuel was born in Buckfastleigh, the son of John Gidley and Elizabeth Barker. Jane was the daughter of John Smith and Grace Benn.
Pamela’s paternal grandmother was Nellie Eileen Liversidge (the daughter of Joseph/Joe Kendall Liversidge and Annie Crossley). Nellie was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, to English parents. Joe was from Yorkshire.
