David was the son of Marcus Lafayette Posey and Emma Louise Smith. Ethel was the daughter of David Henry Gage and Sarah Rebecca Nancy Isabella Frizzell.
Parker’s paternal grandmother was Nautis Magdalene “Naudie” Van Veckhoven/VanVeckhoven (the daughter of Albert Van Veckhoven/VanVeckhoven and Mary Eulalie DeLatin). Nautis was born in Louisiana.
