Patrick Fugit is an American actor. He has starred in the film Almost Famous (2000), among others.
Patrick’s paternal grandfather was Raymond Fred Fugit (the son of Raymond John Fugit and Freda Malinda Hudeman). Patrick’s grandfather Raymond was born in Sacramento, California. Patrick’s great-grandfather Raymond was the son of George Robert Fugit and Sarah Catherine Comegys, and had deep roots in the U.S. Freda was the daughter of German parents, Julius Wilhelm Heinrich Hudeman and Marguerita Eggers, who both had roots in Schleswig-Holstein.
Patrick’s paternal grandmother was Marilyn Georgianna Ranson (the daughter of William Cleveland Ranson and Rose Anna Pickering). Marilyn was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. William was the son of George Ranson, who was an English emigrant, from Durham; and of Margaret Jane Homan, who had deep lines in the U.S. Patrick’s great-grandmother Rose was the daughter of Arthur Pickering, whose parents were English immigrants; and of Georgiana Stringham, who had deep roots in the U.S.
