Paul Gasol is a Spanish professional basketball player. A power forward and center, he played for FC Barcelona, the Memphis Grizzlies, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Chicago Bulls, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is 7′0″.
Paul is the son of Marisa Sàez and Agusti Gasol. His brother, Marc Gasol, also plays in the NBA. He is married to Catherine McDonnell, with whom he has two children.
It is said that Paul and his teammate Kobe Bryant communicated in Spanish during games to give them an edge over their opponents. Kobe was fluent in Italian, as well as Spanish.
