Pavel Nedvěd is a Czech professional footballer. A midfielder, he played for Škoda Plzeň, Dukla Prague, Sparta Prague, Lazio, and Juventus, and Czechoslovakia U21 and the Czech Republic national team. Described as one of the best Czech footballers of his generation, he won the prestigious Ballon d’Or in 2003.
Pavel is the son of Anna and Václav Nedvěd. He has two children with his wife Ivana.
