He has won the 2017 Canadian National Skating Championships, the 2018 Junior Grand Prix in Slovakia, the 2018 Junior Grand Prix Final, the 2019 JGP U.S. silver medal, the 2020 Bavarian Open, the 2023 CS Autumn Classic bronze medal, the 2025 CS Cranberry Cup International bronze medal, the 2025 CS Nebelhorn Trophy, the 2025 Finlandia Trophy bronze medal, and the 2026 Canadian National Skating Championship.
He is the son of Irina and Igor Gogolev. His parents were gymnasts. His mother was also a figure skater. His brother, Peter Gogolev, is a competitive kayaker. He has dual Canadian and Russian citizenship.
