She is the daughter of actor Andrew Tinpo Lee and psychologist Jennifer Dormer Lee.
Peyton’s maternal grandfather was James T. Dormer (who likely was the son of Floyd Aodie/Aubrey Dormer and Muriel Ann Vorheis). Floyd was born in Colorado, the son of James Bert Dormer and Mary Elizabeth Newton. Muriel was born in Santa Clara, California, the daughter of Charles Ray Vorheis and Jessie Alberta Clayton.
