Phil Baroni is an American mixed martial artist, professional wrestler, kickboxer, and actor. A professional MMA competitor since 2000, he has competed for the UFC, PRIDE, Strikeforce, Cage Rage, DREAM, EliteXC, Bellator MMA, BKFC, and ONE FC. He is nicknamed “The New York Bad Ass.”
He was raised in Massapequa Park, Long Island, a predominantly Italian neighborhood. His father was a prominent attorney. Phil attended Central Michigan Universit. He was an All-American wrestler.
Phil’s maternal grandfather was named James Albano.
