Phyllis Logan is a Scottish actress. Her roles include the shows Lovejoy , Holby City , and Downton Abbey , as well as the latter’s film follow-ups; and the films Another Time, Another Place ; The Chain (1984), The Doctor and the Devils , The Kitchen Toto , Secrets & Lies , Shooting Fish , Misbehaviour (2020), Last Train to Christmas , and No Way Up .
She is the daughter of David Logan, a Rolls-Royce engineer and trade unionist. She was raised in Johnstone, near Paisley. Phyllis is married to British actor Kevin McNally , with whom she has a son.
