Pierre Coffin is a French animator, film director, and voice actor.
He is the son of Nh. Dini (Nurhayati Srihardini Siti Nukatin), an Indonesian writer, and Yves Paul Marie Fernand Coffin, a French diplomat. His family moved often, living in Cambodia and Japan. He has two children.
Pierre’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to his tenth great-grandfather, Michel Cofin.
Pierre’s paternal grandfather was Pierre Joseph Coffin (the son of Édouard Coffin and Louise Victoire Joséphine Tiré). Pierre’s grandfather Pierre was born in Fontaine-sur-Somme, Somme.
