Jarve was the son of John Mckenzie Beaton and of Julia Ann House Brown, and was of mostly Scottish descent. Porcelain Black’s great-grandmother Pearl was the daughter of Amos Evans, whose parents were English and Irish, respectively; and of Emma Hill, who had Irish ancestry.
Porcelain Black’s paternal grandmother was Betty L. Wojcik/Wojick (the daughter of Stanley G. Wojcik/Wojick and Stella Kanasavitch). Stanley was born in Poland. Stella was born in Massachusetts, to Polish parents.
