Quinta Brunson is an American actress, comedian, writer, and producer. She created the series Broke and Abbott Elementary , both of which she has also starred in and written for, as well as directed episodes of the former. She has also appeared on the shows Single Parents , iZombie , A Black Lady Sketch Show , Big Mouth , Lazor Wulf , Magical Girl Friendship Squad , Miracle Workers , and Cars on the Road , in the films As of Yet and Weird: The Al Yankovic Story , and in the music videos “Come Over,” “Dragonball Durag,” and “Little Foot Big Foot.”
She is the daughter of Norma Jean, a kindergarten teacher, and Rick Brunson, who managed parking lots. She was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness. Her name Quinta means “fifth” in Spanish, as she is the youngest of five children.
