The Most Excellent Rafael Nadal, Marquess of Llevant de Mallorca, or simply Rafael Nadal, is a Spanish professional tennis player.
Rafael is the son of Ana María Parera and Sebastián Nadal Homar, who owns an insurance company, the glass and window company Vidres Mallorca, and the restaurant Sa Punta. His uncle, Miguel Ángel Nadal, is a professional footballer, who played for Barcelona and internationally represented Spain. He speaks Spanish and Balearic Catalan.
Rafael is married to María Francisca (Mery) Perelló Pascual, with whom he has two children.
Rafael’s paternal grandfather is named Rafael Nadal. Rafael was a musician.
