Raul Seixas was a Brazilian rock composer, musician, singer, songwriter, and producer. He was known as Father of Brazilian Rock, Raulzito/Little Raul, and Maluco Beleza/Groovy Nutcase/Madman Beauty.
He was the son of Maria Eugênia Pereira dos Santos and Raul Varella Seixas. His family lived near the U.S. Consulate, and he became fluent in English. Raul had a daughter with his former wife Edith Wisner; a daughter with his former wife Glória Vaquer; and a daughter with his former wife Ângela Affonso Costa.
