Reda Kateb is a French actor.
Reda is the son of Algerian actor Malek-Eddine Kateb. Reda’s mother, who is French, is said to have Czech, Italian, and Spanish ancestry.
Reda’s paternal grandfather was born into a Chaoui Berber family in Algeria, and was the son of Mohamed Kateb and Jasmina. Reda is the great-nephew of Algerian writer Kateb Yacine.
