RedOne is a Moroccan-Swedish singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and record executive. He has produced international hits for artists Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias, and Nicki Minaj. In 2011, he received the Moroccan Royal Award for intellectual excellence.
RedOne was born in Tétouan, in northern Morocco, and moved to Sweden at nineteen old to pursue a music career. He later moved to the U.S., in 2007. He is married to Dutch-Moroccan fashion designer Laila Aziz, with whom he has two children. RedOne and Laila own fashion brand Kayat, where she is a creative designer.
