Richard Ashcroft is an English musician, singer, and songwriter. He was the lead singer, and sometimes rhythm guitarist, of alternative rock band The Verve. He is also known as Mad Richard and RPA.
He is married to keyboardist Kate Radley, who was a member of rock band Spiritualized. The couple has two children.
