Richard Conte was an American actor. He appeared in more than 100 films, including I’ll Cry Tomorrow , Ocean’s 11 , and The Godfather .
Richard was the son of Giulia/Julia/Tulia (Fina), a seamstress, and Pasquale “Patsy” Conte, a barber. His father was an emigrant from Palomonte, Province of Salerno, Campania, Italy. He was married to Shirlee Garner, until his death. He had a son, film editor Mark Conte, who was adopted, with his former wife, actress Ruth Storey.
