Rob Thomas is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is the lead singer of rock band Matchbox Twenty.
Rob was born in Landstuhl, West Germany, to American parents, Mamie Cleo and William Kelly “Bill” Thomas. He was raised in the U.S., spending time in Lake City, South Carolina and Sarasota, Florida. He is married to model Marisol Maldonado. Rob has a son from a previous relationship.
