Robert Jenrick is an English politician and solicitor. He has been Reform UK Treasury Spokesperson, since 17 February, 2026. He has also been Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury, from 9 January, 2018 to 24 July, 2019, Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, from 24 July, 2019 to 15 September, 2021, Minister of State for Health, from 7 September, 2022 to 25 October, 2022, and Minister of State for Immigration, from 25 October, 2022 to 6 December, 2023; as well as, a Member of Parliament for Newark, since 5 June, 2014. He was a member of the Conservative Party until 2026, when he joined Reform UK.
His father was Finance Director of the English Electric Cooker Company and Managing Director of Cannon Industries. He was raised in Shropshire, near Ludlow, and in Herefordshire. Robert is married to Israeli-born corporate lawyer Michal Berkner, with whom he has three children.
