She has been a tenured professor of multicultural education, and an affiliate associate professor of education. She wrote the book White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism .
Robin is the daughter of Maryanne Jeanne and Robert Taylor. Her family was working-class. Her mother died when she was eleven. Robin is married to Jason Toews, and has at least one child.
