Robin Harris was an American comedian and actor. He is known for his sketch about “Bébé’s Kids,” and for his role in the film House Party , which was released nine days before his death. He also appeared in the films I’m Gonna Git You Sucka , Do the Right Thing , Harlem Nights , and Mo’ Better Blues . An animated film based on his sketch, Bébé’s Kids , was released in 1992.
Robin was the son of Mattie, a seamstress, and Earl Harris, a welder. His family moved to Los Anegles, California, in 1961. He was married to Exetta, until his death, with whom he had a son.
