Rocío Jurado was a Spanish singer and actress. She was born in Chipiona, Cádiz and nicknamed “ La mas grande ” (“The Greatest”).
Rocío was married to bullfighter José Ortega Cano. She had a daughter, television presenter Rocío Carrasco, with her former husband, boxer Pedro Carrasco; and two children with José.
Rocío was the daughter of Fernando Mohedano Crespo and Rosario Jurado Bernal.
Rocío’s paternal grandmother was Gloria Crespo Miranda (the daughter of Fernando Crespo and Rogelia Miranda).
Rocío’s maternal grandfather was Antonio Jurado Jurado (the son of José Jurado Romero and María Dolores Jurado Ricarte).
