Rod Gilbert was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. A forward/right wing, he played his entire career for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL); he also played with the Canada national team. He was nicknamed “Mr. Ranger.”
Rod was the son of Alma and Gabriel Gilbert, a blacksmith. He was married to Judith Christy. He had two children with his former wife, stewardess Judith Linton; and two children with Judith Christy.
