Roman Griffin Davis is a British actor. He played the lead role of Johannes in the film Jojo Rabbit , for which he was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Musical or Comedy. His roles also include the films Silent Night (2021), The King of Kings (2025), The Long Walk , Greenland 2: Migration , and 500 Miles .

He is the son of writer and director Camille Griffin and cinematographer Ben Davis (Benjamin V. Davis). His brothers, twins Hardy Griffin Davis and Gilby Griffin Davis, have also acted.

Roman’s paternal grandfather was named Michael J. Davis (Michael John Davis). Michael was a cinematographer, who was married to film and television director Gabrielle Beaumont, until his death.

Roman’s maternal grandfather is named Hedley G. Griffin. Hedley is Irish.
