Rosalind Eleazar is a British actress. Her roles include the films The Personal History of David Copperfield , The House of Bernarda Alba , Rose of Nevada , and Frank & Louis ; and the series National Treasure , Rellik , Howards End , Harlots , Lore , Deep Water , Slow Horses , Class of ’09 , and Missing You .
Her father was Ghanaian soldier and politician Major Courage Emmanuel Kobla Quashigah, who was Minister for Agriculture, from January 2001 to January 2005, and Minister for Health, from January 2005 to January 2009; in Ghana. He was from the Volta region, which is majority Ewe. Her mother was born in Los Angeles, California, to an American father and a British mother; she is of Cajun French, English, Welsh, and Irish descent. An interview with Rosalind stated that her “mother’s name is Eleazar, but the Hispanic trace [to the surname], whatever that was, is long gone.”
Rosalind is married to Gabriel Lo Giudice.
