Rúben Vezo is a Portuguese professional footballer. A defender, he plays for Super League Greece club Olympiacos. He was previously with Vitória Setúbal, Valencia, Granada, Levante, and Eyüpspor, and the Portugal national team. He was promoted to the first team for the 2013–14 season and made his top division debut starting in a 1–3 home loss against F.C. Porto.
He was born in Setúbal, to a Cape Verdean mother and a Portuguese father. He joined local Vitória Futebol Clube’s youth system at the age of eleven.
