Rupert Lowe is an English politician and businessperson. He has been Leader of Restore Britain, since 30 June, 2025, and Chairman of Great Yarmouth First, since 1 December, 2025; as well as, a Member of the European Parliament for West Midlands, from 2 July, 2019 to 31 January, 2020, and a Member of Parliament for Great Yarmouth, since 4 July, 2024.
He is the son of Susan J. and Patrick Graham Lowe. He is married to Nicola “Nicky” Chapman, with whom he has four children. Nicola’s maternal grandmother was from the Cary-Elwes family.
Rupert’s paternal grandfather was Reginald Lawrence/Laurence Lowe (the son of John Samuel Stanley Lowe and Florence Alice Frances/Louisa Sheppard). Reginald was born in Headington, Oxfordshire. John was born in Oxford, Oxfordshire, the son of John Lowe and Henrietta Castle. Rupert’s great-grandmother Florence was born in Oxford, the daughter of William Sheppard and Louisa.
