Salvador was the son of Felipa Domènech i Ferrés and Salvador Rafael Aniceto Dalí i Cusi. He was married to Russian-born Gala Dalí, until her death.
Salvador’s paternal grandfather Gal Josep Salvador Dalí i Viñas (the son of Salvador Manuel Sebastià Dalí Cruanyes and Francisca Vinas). Gal was born in Cadaqués, Girona. Salvador Manuel was the son of a man surnamed Dali Raguer, and of Maria Cruanyes.
Salvador’s paternal grandmother was Teresa Cusí i Marcó (the daughter of Jacinto Cusí i Guitart and Marianna Marcó i Capdaygua). Teresa was born in Roses, Girona. Jacinto was the son of Jacinto Joseph Pere Cusí i Marés and Rosa Guitart.
