His roles include the series Spooks , Hatfields & McCoys , The Astronaut Wives Club , Prime Suspect 1973 , Bloom , Lambs of God , The Hunting , The Newsreader , and Interview with the Vampire ; the films Anonymous (2011), The Railway Man , Belle (2013), ’71 , The Riot Club , Tigers , Serena (2014), Despite the Falling Snow , The Limehouse Golem , 2:22 (2017), Standing Up for Sunny , Waiting for the Barbarians , and The Drover’s Wife ; and the made-for-tv docufiction The Taking of Prince Harry .
He is a brother of actor Rupert Reid and producer Kali Reid. His father is a cattle farmer. He was raised on a cattle property in the Monaro region. His mother’s family is Irish.
