Sarah Cooper is a Jamaican-born American comedian, YouTuber, actress, and author. Her roles include the show Home Movie: The Princess Bride and the films Summering , Unfrosted , and The Housemaid (2025).
Sarah is the daughter of Jennifer, who worked in human resources, and Lance Cooper, an electrical engineer. A picture of Sarah’s parents can be seen here . She had stated that her father has some Chinese ancestry, and that her mother has some German ancestry. In her memoir, Foolish: Tales of Assimilation, Determination, and Humiliation , 2023, page 33, Sarah wrote that she took a 23andMe DNA test, and found no Chinese ancestry. Her genetic results included 1% Ashkenazi Jewish. She also stated that her family claims Indian, Dutch, and Irish ancestries, which exist in in Jamaica.
