He is married to director, producer, and writer Lori Allred.
Scott’s maternal grandfather was Albert Tadashi Watada (the son of Matajiro “Arthur” Watada and En Kamo). Albert was born in Colorado, to Japanese parents. Matajiro was the son of Masajiro Watada and Mume. En was the daughter of Saburo Kamo and Uasu.
Scott’s maternal grandmother was Ruth Hisako Takahashi (the daughter of Tokuzo Takahashi and Tomi Okamoto). Ruth was born in Colorado, to Japanese parents. Tomi was the daughter of Kizo Okamoto.
