Sepideh Moafi is a German-born American actress. Her roles include the series Black Box , Notorious , The Deuce , Falling Water , The L Word: Generation Q , Black Bird , Class of ’09 , Scavengers Reign , and The Pitt , and the films The Killing of Two Lovers and I’ll Be Right There .
She was born in a refugee camp in Regensburg, to parents from Iran, who had left because of the Iranian Revolution. The family also spent time in Turkey, before being granted visas to the U.S. She is an American citizen.
