Shamcey Supsup-Lee is a Filipino actress, television host, model, architect, beauty pageant titleholder, and pageant organization director. She was Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2011/Miss Universe-Philippines 2011, and was third runner-up for Miss Universe 2011.
She is the daughter of Marcelina Luega Gurrea and Timothy Ferolino Supsup, an Ilocano. She was raised mostly in General Santos, where she helped her father on a farm. Shamcey is married to American businessperson Lloyd Lee, with whom she has two children.
The surname Supsup came from her paternal great-grandfather when, during World War II, he resisted the Japanese invaders and had to change his surname in order to hide.
Shamcey’s paternal grandfather was named Gavino Supsup (the son of Vidal Supsup).
Shamcey’s paternal grandmother was named Brigida Ferolino.
Shamcey’s maternal grandfather was Miguel Auxtero Gurrea (the son of Severino Flores Gurrea and Timotea Auxtero). Severino was the son of Antonio Gurrea and Francisca Flores. Timotea was the daughter of Teófila Auxtero.
Shamcey’s maternal grandmother was named Teodora Luega.
