Shaun Johnson is a New Zealand professional rugby league footballer. A halfback and five-eighth, he played for New Zealand Warriors adn Cronulla Sharks, and for the New Zealand national team and NRL All Stars.
His father is a New Zealander, of European descent. His mother is Laotian. The Lao are an ethnic group native to Laos and northeastern Thailand. Shaun is married to netball player Kayla Johnson (née Cullen), with whom he has two children.
