Shay Mitchell is a Canadian actress, model, entrepreneur, and author. She is known for her roles on the series Pretty Little Liars , You , and Dollface , and in the films Dreamland , Mother’s Day (2016), The Possession of Hannah Grace , and Something from Tiffany’s .
Shay is the daughter of Precious Garcia and Mark Mitchell. Shay has said that her father is “half-Scottish, half-Irish.” Her mother is Filipino, from Pampanga, and also has some Spanish ancestry. Her first cousin, once removed, is Filipino singer and actress Lea Salonga . Shay spent time modeling in Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Barcelona.
Shay has two children with her partner Matte Babel.
