Shiloh’s paternal grandfather was George Fernandez (the son of Tony Louis Fernandez and Minnie C. Hendrick/Hendricks). George was born in California. Tony was born in the Hawaiian Islands, to a Portuguese-born father, Antone Louis Fernandez, and to a Hawaiian-born mother, Mary Furtado Mendonca, who was of Portuguese descent, from the Azores. Minnie was born in California, to Portuguese parents.
Shiloh’s paternal grandmother was Malkah Wolper (the daughter of Mordecai “Manuel”/Manny Wolper and Merriem/Mariam “Mara”/Mary Onitskanskaia). Malkah was born in San Francisco, California, to Russian Jewish parents, from Kishinev, Bessarabia, now Moldova. Mordecai was the son of Samuel Wolper and Esther Vitashkin. Merriem was the daughter of Eliazar Onitskanskaia and Berta Aizenberg.
Shiloh’s maternal grandfather has the surname Hallihan.
Shiloh’s maternal grandmother was Mary Jane Lay (the daughter of James Walter Lay and Margaret/Margarett Alice Edwards). Mary Jane was born in Imperial, California, and had deep roots in the U.S. James was the son of William Ellsworth Elzy Lay and Mary Calvert. Margaret was the daughter of William Hazel Edwards and Jane Ellen Haskins.
