Shiva Ayyadurai, full name V. A. Shiva Ayyadurai, is an Indian-American engineer, entrepreneur, anti-vaccine activist, conspiracy theorist, and politician. His degrees include a PhD in biological engineering. He is known for his promotion of pseudoscience and unverified/undocumented medical claims. He was an independent candidate for President of the United States in 2024.
Shiva was initially raised in Muhavur village, Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu. His family moved to the U.S. when he was seven. He attended high school in New Jersey.
