Simone Bailly is a Canadian actress. She is known for her roles on the series The L Word , Smallville , and Battlestar Galactica , and in the film Bong of the Dead .

She has stated :

[“Blood & Treasure” is] my first role where I get to play Chinese (which I am, half-Chinese) so that was a big deal for me. I usually play so many other races including Caucasian, so it was great to finally represent that part of my heritage.

Simone’s paternal grandfather was named Frank Chesley Bailly (the son of Harold/Harle/Harley Chesley Bailly and Gladys). Frank was born in Alberta. Harold was born in Nova Scotia, the son of Edwin Bailly and Mary Annetta/Annette Slauenwhite.

Simone’s paternal grandmother was named Marie Louise “Tootie” Spaapen (the daughter of Piet “Peter” Spaapen and Elise J. M.). Marie Louise was born in Alberta, to parents from the Netherlands. Elise was from Maastricht.
