Skye McCole Bartusiak was an American actress and model. Her roles included the films The Cider House Rules , The Prophet’s Game , The Patriot (2000), Don’t Say a Word , Riding in Cars with Boys , Against the Ropes , Boogeyman (2005), Kill Your Darlings (2006), Wild About Harry , Good Day for It , and Sick Boy ; the series 24 and George Lopez ; the made-for-tv movies Witness Protection (1999), Blonde (2001), and Love Comes Softly ; and the mini-series Stephen King’s Storm of the Century , Firestarter: Rekindled , and Beyond the Prairie: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder .
She was the daughter of Helen Marie (McCole), an actress, director, and producer, and Donald Bartusiak. Her brother, Stephen Dylan Bartusiak, was also a model.
