Srettha Thavisin (เศรษฐา ทวีสิน) is a Thai businessperson and politician. He has served as Prime Minister of Thailand , from 22 August, 2023 to 14 August, 2024; and as Minister of Finance, from 1 September, 2023 to 27 April, 2024. He is nicknamed “Nid” (“นิด”).
He is the son of Chodchoi (Jutrakul) [ชดช้อย (จูตระกูล)] and Amnuay Thavisin [อำนวย ทวีสิน]. Prime Minister Srettha is married to physician and businesswoman Pakpilai (Paladraksa) Thavisin [พักตร์พิไล (ปลัดรักษา) ทวีสิน], with whom he has three children, Napat [ณภัทร], Warat [วรัตม์] and Chananda [ชนัญดา].
