Stephanie Hsu is an American actress. She played Joy/Jobu in Everything Everywhere All at Once , for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She is also known for her roles in the films Set It Up , Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings , Shortcomings , Joy Ride (2023), The Fall Guy (2024), and, in voice performance, The Monkey King , Leo , and The Wild Robot ; and on the shows Girl Code , The Path , The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel , Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens , Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight , Blue Eye Samurai , The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy , Kite Man: Hell Yeah! , these four in voice role; and Laid .

She was raised by a single mother. Her maternal grandmother moved from China to Taiwan, and had sent Stephanie’s mother to the U.S. for schooling.
