Steve Antin, or Steven Antin, is an American actor, stunt performer, screenwriter, producer, and director. His roles include Jessie in the music video for Rick Springfield’s Jessie’s Girl ; the films The Last American Virgin , Sweet Sixteen (1983), as the jock Troy in The Goonies , Penitentiary III , The Accused (1988), Survival Quest , Inside Monkey Zetterland , which he co-wrote; and It’s My Party ; and the shows Civil Wars and NYPD Blue . He directed the films Glass House: The Good Mother and Burlesque , the latter of which he also wrote; wrote the film Gloria (1999); co-wrote the films Chasing Papi and Proud Mary ; and directed the music videos for “Like Me” and “Sway.” He created and wrote for the show Young Americans .

His parents are English Jewish immigrants to the U.S. Steve’s father is an artist. His mother is an interior designer. He is a brother of actor Neil Antin; actress, entrepreneur, singer, dancer, choreographer, and clothing designer Robin Antin, who founded the band The Pussycat Dolls; and celebrity hairstylist Jonathan Antin.

Steve’s maternal grandfather was named Abraham Geller (whose mother’s surname was Lebovitch). Abraham was born in Mile End Old Town, London, England.

Steve’s maternal grandmother was named Rachel Fireman (whose mother’s surname was Spiegler). Rachel was born in St. Martin, London, England.
