Steve Heimler is an American history teacher and educational YouTuber. He founded, and hosts, Heimler’s History , a YouTube channel that helps students prepare for Advanced Placement (AP) history and related exams. He initially worked as a high school AP history teacher, teaching subjects including U.S. history, world history, European history, government, and macroeconomics. Over time, his educational videos have found a national audience.

Steve’s paternal grandfather was Robert Lee Heimler (the son of Roy J. Heimler and Matilda Van Hassel). Robert was born in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan.
