Steve Howey is an American film and television actor.

Steve’s paternal grandfather was John Schneider Howey (the son of John Cecil Howey and Donnadell Schneider). Steve’s grandfather John was born in Cuyahoga, Ohio. Steve’s great-grandfather John was the son of Aaron J. R. Howey, who had deep roots in the U.S.; and of Jennie A. Aldrich, whose father had American roots, and whose mother was Irish. Steve’s great-grandmother Donnadell was the daughter of William Henry Schneider, whose parents were German; and of Mary Eleanor McDermott, whose paternal grandfather was Irish.
Steve’s paternal grandmother was Ella Mae Young (the daughter of Henry Allen Young and Mary Ella Harper). Ella was born in Florence, Alabama, and had deep lines in the U.S. Henry was the son of Henry Jefferson Young and Elizabeth Susan Hanners. Mary was the daughter of Elijah Wilson Harper and Mary Jane Routon.
Steve’s maternal grandfather was Harry Edison Novinger (the son of Isaac Milton Novinger and Fannie Jane Eitel). Harry was born in Green Castle, Missouri. Isaac was the son of Daniel Michael Dewalt Novinger and Elnora Jane Bozarth, and was of mostly Pennsylvania Dutch (German) ancestry. Fannie was the daughter of John Frederick Eitel, whose parents were German; and of Eva Weber, whose parents were from Alsace, France.
Steve’s maternal grandmother was Mary Louise Flentge (the daughter of John Joseph Flentge and Mary Mildred Mansfield). Mary Louise was born in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, and had partly deep American roots. John was the son of John Edward Flentge, whose paternal grandparents were German; and of Hazel Hanscom Perry. Steve’s great-grandmother Mary was the daughter of Jesse Franklin Mansfield and Belvia Alice Lindsay.
