Storm Reid is an American actress. Her roles include the films A Wrinkle in Time as Meg, 12 Years a Slave , Sleight , A Happening of Monumental Proportions , Don’t Let Go , The Invisible Man (2020), One Way , and Missing (2023), the series When They See Us , Euphoria , and The Last of Us , and the made-for-tv movie A Cross to Bear .
Her character Meg is depicted in the film as biracial (with parents played by Chris Pine and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who herself is biracial). It appears that in real life, both of Storm’s parents are black.
Storm’s paternal great-grandfather was named Robert Charles Reid, Sr. Robert was born in Georgia.
Storm’s paternal grandmother is named Patsy Dorsey (the daughter of William McKinley Dorsey).
