Tameka Cottle is an American singer and songwriter. She was a member of girl group Xscape, and received a Grammy Award for her writing contributions on the TLC hit “No Scrubs.” She is also known as Tameka “Tiny” Harris and Tameka Harris. She is 4′11″.
Tameka is the daughter of Diane and Albert Cottle. Her step-father Charles Pope co-founded Atlanta-based vocal group The Tams, along with his brother, Joe Pope. Tameka has a daughter with her former partner Zonnie “Zeboe” Pullins; and three children with her husband, rapper and actor T.I.
Tameka’s paternal grandfather was named Albert Cottle. Albert was born in Georgia.
Tameka’s paternal grandmother was Senella Ruth Tippins (the daughter of Wilmer Tippins and Esther Gibbs). Senella was born in Georgia. Wilmer was the son of Isaac Tippins and Alice Hopps. Esther was the daughter of James Henry Gibbs and Senella McNeil/McNeal.
