Taylor’s maternal grandfather is Lawrence Stephen McDonald, Jr. (the son of Lawrence Stephen McDonald and Edna Catherine Gallagher). Taylor’s grandfather Lawrence was born in New York. Taylor’s great-grandfather Lawrence was born in Canandaigua, Ontario, New York, the son of Lawrence McDonald and Helen Dower, who were born in New York, both of them to Irish immigrants.
