Terrell Suggs is an American professional football player. A linebacker, he played for the Baltimore Ravens, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He is nicknamed “T-Sizzle.” He is 6′3″.
Terrell is the son of Laverne and Donald Suggs. He is a second cousin, once removed, of professional football player Jalen Suggs. Terrell has two children with his former wife Candace Williams.
Terrell’s paternal grandfather was Booker Griffin Suggs (the son of Griffin Suggs and Alma Tiggs). Booker was born in Mississippi. Terrell’s great-grandfather Griffin was the son of John Suggs and Mary.
Terrell’s paternal grandmother was Pearline Hunter (the daughter of Samuel Floyd Hunter and Julia McDor). Pearline was born in Tennessee.
Terrell’s maternal grandfather’s surname was Kennedy.
He has stated , “I’m half Jewish, half Christian… I’m a Jew for Jesus.” It is not clear if Terrell has any verified Jewish ancestry.
